Our Beautiful Campus

First off, you should note the sarcasm as I write the title for this post. RIT may be tolerably nice right now, while the weather is good and the breeze is cooling rather than frigid, but in a few months, it’s going to be a brick windtunnel filled with rain and snow. Besides this, cynicism is like our national flavor here at RIT. Freshman find this really depressing, but by the time you finish your first year here, I think everyone has learned that survival in these harsh conditions is based on how much you can resemble Dr. House when talking about life at RIT. However, in light of the nice weather and the people reading this who don’t know what the RIT campus looks like, I decided to spend some time taking pics of stuff here.

I'll let you guess which half of the room is mine... lol >.<;

Of note is the Frogtopus stuffed animal on my headboard that Chels made for me freshman year. ^^ I’m happy to be back in my room with stuff I picked out and bought, in colors that I like. Also I still have more things to maybe put on the wall, especially on those boards over my desk. I didn’t really expect the flag was going to take up quite that much of my wall when I bought it…

The main dorms
With dorms like these, what's not to love about RIT architecture?
Shadows
However, it has won awards. And the shadows on campus can look really cool.

Also, back in March I linked an article about how Verizon is sharing user info with other networks. I recently got an email notifying me that they’ve finally put this into action and that I can opt out any time, but they’ll be sharing my info until I do. Yay Verizon.
