I’m Ellen Rockett, and I’ve been writing this blog since the spring of 2009, when I started it in preparation for my study abroad in Dessau, Germany. Mostly it catalogues my travels and photography, but also my design projects, thoughts, and various other happenings in my life.

I’m a digital designer, and I do some light development (I developed this theme, modified heavily from Reverie Framework). I graduated from RIT in 2010 with a degree in New Media Design. I love web design, logo design, and typography. I’ve also been known to dabble in print design, 3D modeling, animation, and drawing. One of my favorite hobbies is photography. Please check out my portfolio.

Other hobbies include nerdy things, politics (especially political humor), scifi (love Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica), roleplaying games (tabletops, as opposed to the live-action kind), the Myst series of games and books, vocal music, the internet, oh, and … Germany. I love German!
